my touring mountainbike

my touring mountainbike is a self defined bicycle, that was constructed from a professional bicycle constructor. the main advantage of its components is, that they are normally easy repairable - everywhere in the world. this means: normal v-breaks (easy to maintain), a solid suspension fork, a rohloff speedhub (the heart of the bike) and rack/lowrider from tubus. this bike is proved and tested in south america 2006 (chile/argentina), where it had to overcome difficult terrain. conclusion: no defect at all.

i decided to use the rack and a lowrider this time. in south america, i have used a special suspensioned trailer (bob yak). this brought good road performance, but also two disadvantages: about 7 kg more weight and a difficult transport by aeroplane.
