news & travelogues - utila, honduras 2007

well, how to begin...after being back in switzerland for over 2 months, i can't wait to go away again. and i don't wanna say i did my scuba instructor for nothing! and i don't want it to be over.

hi everybody there from utila and everybody who has ever been there. i wish you all happy easter! i just wanna let everyone know, that i'm still working on the utila travelogue and i'm seriously thinking about getting back to that lovely place!!!

flight back to switzerland now 3 weeks earlier. i will be back on march 13th. more tomorrow.

today i got after 45 km in slight rain to timaru, a small harbour town on the eastcoast.

arrived in geraldine after 80 km. tomorrow i will get to the coast to timaru.

first night in the tent, first 60 km done: i am in rakaia. check route tracking.

after 2 long flights i finally arrived in christchurch, nz. my bicycle journey starts on friday to the south. more info soon.

today i have uploaded the final picture gallery of my 3 months stay on utila island, honduras, central america. 415 amazing pictures in 7 different albums. take a look - it's worth it.

the last night on utila ended with a goodbye party for all friends i left behind. i thank you all for the best time of my life! pix will follow.

my last day on utila! tomorrow my flight to san pedro sula and atlanta leaves at 7.30. it is so hard to leave this place and all the good friends.
