this is the already second major hurricane of the atlantic season, which threatens the caribbean. this time it will hit honduras!

the first and major hurricane of the atlantic season 2007, called "dean", crosses the caribbean sea and luckily misses utila island.

in less than 50 days the first part of my half year sabbatical starts.

from the end of september 2007, i will publish a monthly column on taucher.net about my scuba diving adventure.

my project "dive 2007" starts in exactly 100 days. everything is prepared.

i have participated in the padi rescue diver course in switzerland. now the course is finished and i am a certified rescue diver.

after a long time selection of possibilities, i have finally found the option that fits to me in every sense: utila island in honduras.

there is now a new section for the project "dive 2007", which is a three month stay abroad. in these three month i will become a divemaster. read more about this.

what do you you think? what will be possible? where will i decide to go? the question is: where do i want to dive for three months...
