hurdal-eidsvoll (then by train to oslo)
- 30 km's -
we left hurdal at 10 am. it rained! we
went from hurdal to eidsvoll by bike. partly in rain. from eidsvoll, we
tooked the train to oslo, because it did not stop raining (costs: 136 nok).
in oslo, we went to the kfum youth hostel (ymca). it's the cheapest
possibility to spend the night in oslo.
in the evening, we went out with two
persons we met: chris from america and joanna from finnland. we checked many
bars this evening.

we stayed in oslo for seightseeing. joanna
from finnland came with us. it was a very interesting day. but it was a long
day for our feet.

oslo-(on
road 4)-slattum-rotnes-grønvoll-harestua
- 57.5 km's -
we left the youth hostel at 11 am. then
wewent along the cycling lane to rotnes, gronvoll and then to harestua. we
went on the camping place. it was very laboriously to get out of the city by
bike. the camping place is very nice, but very apart. so, we had to go 8
km's for shopping.

today it began to rain in the night. it
rained all through the day. it was the strongest rain, we have seen in
norway. but our tent was waterproof (thanks to the producer of FABSIL, a
very good waterproofer). we stayed on the camping. we went 8 km's again for
shopping in a short rain break.

we left harestua at 10 am. the last day in
norway began. tomorrow, we will fly back to cologne.

sessvollmoen-gardermoen / airport cologne-hotel ibis

30 km's -
today we had to go to the airport in
gardermoen, to get our flight back to cologne. this time, we had to spend a
night in cologne. when we arrived at the airport, we tried to find a pack
for our bikes. it was not possible! the don't sell
anything to pack bikes in gardermoen! so we had to check-in our bikes
without packing. we were very lucky, that our bikes and the luggage was
still complete in cologne (remember: the lost our tent!). from the airport
cologne, we had to go about 14 km's by bike to the hotel ibis. in the
evening, we checked the mc donald's and the kentucky fried chicken near the
hotel.

we had to get up at 4 am. our flight was
leaving on about 7 am.
even in cologne, they
sell no pack for the bikes! once again,
we were happy, that our bikes were complete in zurich.
very nice, adventurously holidays went to
end. |
