in order to test our new tent, that was bought for the south america bike trip, we decided to go to the greina plateau in graubuenden, switzerland. this plateau is situated on about 2150 m.a.s.l. because we were there in the middle of october (14th/15th), it was already a bit colder: about -5°C in the night! so we can say, it was a test under real conditions.

our trip went from above vrin (1428 m) up to the diesrut pass (2430 m). from there we went down to the greina plateau (2150 m). we camped on the plateau, beside a river on the line from piz vial to pizzo marumo. on the whole trip, we hiked about 2600 m difference in height. on the first day (vrin-diesrut pass-greina plateau), we hiked for about 4.5 hours. the second day was about one hour less.
