i am a rya day skipper | pictures from ireland trip uploaded

from october 14th, i was on a 11 days round-trip in the republic of ireland. starting in dublin, then galway, killybegs, derry, belfast and back to dublin. during that time i did a one week rya (royal yachting association) course to become a certified day skipper for motor boats.

from october 14th until october 25th 2011 i was in the republic of ireland and northern ireland.

i flew to dublin airport, then spent a night there. the next day i got to galway, where i met soem friends and spent another night.

the following day i drove to killybegs in donegal county on the northwest coast. there i did an rya (royal yachting association) course, called "day skipper - motor". this course was taught by richard timony from pro maritime training centre (see link further below). he gave the course the right quality and also made it fun. to see more information about my skipper training in 2011/2012, see the link below. this was just a part of it. also further down on this page or in the navigation menu you will find 3 associated photo albums. enjoy.

after the course i continued my trip to derry and belfast in norther ireland. spent a night in belfast. the following day (sat) i drove back to dublin, where i met two friends to do sightseeing in dublin city centre and around. we've seen howth, dun laughaire and of course dublin city. of all these parts of that journey you will find a related photo album.

my skipper training continues now from saturday on. see details below.
